Vincent Lazzara began Bluetorch in early 2002, after working many years at various design and branding agencies. Since then, Bluetorch has been privileged to work with a range of amazing clients, creatives, researchers and consultants. Depending on a project’s scope, timing and need, Vincent will assemble a specialist project team to deliver.

As a brand strategist and management consultant, Vincent Lazzara has spent more than 20 years developing brand, marketing and creative strategies within most industry sectors. From luxury brands to blue chips, SMEs to start-ups, he has developed brand platforms, repositioning strategies and strategic marketing plans for organisations such as the AFL, Museum Victoria, Deakin University, Gymnastics Australia, ABN Amro, Florsheim, Nobody Denim, BPM, The Victorian Law Foundation, Parks Victoria and Ansett Australia.

As a strategist, the heart of what Vincent does is to deliver simplicity from complexity. This involves understanding deep strategic issues and uncovering marketing, branding and business opportunities.

Having come from a creative background, he understands the importance of a brand’s visual and verbal expression, and continues to work with some of the best design studios, agencies and creative talent in the country. In most projects, Vincent will maintain the role of creative strategist, creating the blueprint, providing strategic direction and managing the implementation of brand identity programs.

As well as having the experience to manage design-based branding programs, he has developed several methodologies that aim to integrate and align internal culture with the brand promise, which have seen change management principles successfully adopted and integrated with design discipline, innovation and creativity.

Vincent holds a degree in Graphic Design, a Master of Marketing and has been a sessional and guest lecturer at Swinburne University, Monash University and RMIT. Vincent is also the current vice-chairman of AGDA Victoria, the peak industry body representing communication designers.
